Veuve Clicquot-themed hotel to open in Byron Bay

Live for a good glass of bubbles?

This summer Australia will host the world’s first-ever ‘Hotel Clicquot’ where champagne lovers and holidaymakers can live it up, with the beautiful hinterland of Byron Bay in the backdrop.

From November 24, guests will have the opportunity to stay for two glorious days filled with Clicquot-inspired experiences including a Clicquot gastronomy, private helicopter tours of the stunning Byron coastline, and chauffeured day trips in the hotel’s vintage car.

Reflecting on the House of Clicquot’s love of life, the pop-up hotel will be a place for Aussies to completely relax and recharge their batteries after the year that was 2021.

“Our House has always sparkled with optimism and a sense of joie de vivre,” says Jean-Marc Gallot, President and CEO of Veuve Clicquot.

“Every year, our Clicquot in the Sun series of events celebrates the joy of the summer season. This Hotel Clicquot luxury experience is perhaps our most ambitious and exciting expression of this spirit to date, with its first iteration in beautiful Byron Bay.”

The indulgence kicks off the moment you check-in, with canapes and a glass of Veuve Clicquot (of course) on the deck overlooking the property’s sweeping views. Once you’ve settled in, choose from a range of fun activities on offer or simply find a spot by the pool and take in the sunset with a glass of bubbles in hand.

Guests can expect a Byron meets Hamptons getaway with a retro-inspired design, splashed with the champagne’s signature Clicquot yellow umbrellas beside the hotel’s infinity pool.

The Clicquot Hotel also offers a 24-hour butler service, a sommelier to guide guests’ Champagne journeys, a massage therapist, morning yoga, private surfing lessons and more.
