The tri-level boat-beach club opened in late January at Patong Beach in Phuket and is sure to draw plenty of interest with its Insta-worthy atmosphere and its claim as the world’s first floating beach club.

The boat offers 1,200 square meters of space across its three floors and centers around an incredible ocean-facing infinity pool surrounded by day beds. When guests aren’t sipping cocktails and partying the night away aboard Yona, they can also enjoy activities like paddleboarding and kayaking.

The floating venue was brought to life by Hype Boat Club and reportedly took more than six years to design and construct. The name Yona is said to come from the shipowner’s daughter.

Providing some of the best views in Phuket, Yona Beach Club will cruise through scenic Patong Bay during the high season, which spans from mid-November to mid-April. During the low season, the floating beach club will sail to the Royal Phuket Marina.
