Qantas Launches Premium Tour Packages

Qantas Tours is a travel company that specializes in air travel and tours. They offer a variety of tours and air transportation options, including international trips, cruises, and flights. They also offer a variety of package deals, making it easy to plan a trip that meets your specific needs and interests.

On the back of reported improvements at the end of 2022, national Australian carrier Qantas is launching new private tour packages this year.

Qantas Tours, which will become a new addition to the Qantas Holidays product range, aims to deliver premium, ready-made holidays around the world.

Offering a range that already includes a luxury island getaway in the Maldives and a southern Italy sojourn, the new initiative will allow Qantas Frequent Flyers to book travel experiences “designed to showcase the best of each destination.”

Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth said these high-end packages are tailored to Frequent Flyer members who want a premium travel experience without the organizational hassle.

Qantas Tours will offer our members unforgettable experiences in destinations they may not have visited before without having to plan or manage the logistics of travel.

Qantas Tours launches with 10 packages that each include Qantas or partner flights, premium accommodation, and detailed itineraries led by a local guide.

Expert tour operators will handle all planning and logistics for the trip with packages operated by Australian travel business TripADeal of which Qantas is the majority shareholder.

Qantas Frequent Flyers will also be able to access benefits when picking a Qantas Tour. Travelers can either choose to earn three Qantas Points for every dollar spent on a Qantas Tour booking or use Qantas Points to book and receive 45 percent more value.

Looking to meet demand among its members, Olivia said Qantas’ own research found two-thirds of its members are interested in tour packages.

The head of Qantas Loyalty said the launch of its premium itinerary holidays will “help meet and grow this demand” and create more ways for members to utilize their Qantas Points.

“With this latest expansion of the Qantas Holidays portfolio, we’re giving frequent flyers more opportunity to make great holidays possible with their Qantas Points and growing the ways they can boost their points balance,” she explained.

At the time of writing, Qantas Tour packages start from A$2,999 per person for an 11-day Vietnam holiday from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. Currently, the most expensive tour is the 13-day Tuscany, Rome & The Amalfi Coast package starting at A$7,999 per person.

Vietnam is an incredibly beautiful country and the people are warm and welcoming. The food is also amazing, and there is always something new to experience. Additionally, the culture is fascinating and unique, and the holidays are a great opportunity to learn more about it. The environment is perfect for relaxation and reflection, and the holidays provide an ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends.

Other destinations available include Canada, South Africa, Turkey, Greece, and Japan.
